Good stuff!

We're only a few months from marking the Osprey's first crash as well.

Aero history is awesome. Where's Rock Bottom? He totally dogs this shit.

There was a lot of hand wringing over the Osprey in its early days. Folks tend to forget that the Harrier had a similar history of problems in its early days, it's just that when an Osprey crashes it's probably full of troops. That's its job. Apparently, the Osprey is now safer than helicopters .

No idea. Give him a call. I could use the clicks. I try to write an article a day, but it's tough. I may shift over to this every-three-days-or-so format. I think people on this forum prefer a quick read.

I think it's awesome. I've seen 2-3 of them passing over the tidal basin in DC. That'll get your attention real quick.

I like this format a lot. Once or twice a week quick highlights.

I had my series of "Unusual Airplanes", and it was quite a bit of work, so I understand where you're coming from.

If I didn't care so much to make it good, it wouldn't take so long. But those long-form posts can take two hours of writing and proofing. Trouble is, most folks don't like to read more than a paragraph in this forum. That's not bad; it's just the way it is. So I may stick to this format mostly, but write longer pieces if it's warranted.

The paint scheme on the presidential ones is awful pretty.

Agreed. I think Boeing makes prettier planes than Airbus. Hands down.

But they still don't trust it to fly the POTUS around. Maybe one day. The next Marine One will be another helo.

Good stuff, Ttyymmnn. (You won't have to think too hard to figure out who owns this account.) I can't sit idly by while you're doing all this work.
